Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion today.

I took a peak of the youtube.com today. It is just a bunch of home-made or semi commercially made clips. I think the site is loaded with craps that as best can satisfy some internet voyeurs. A few years ago, when the reality show "Survior" was a smashing hit, someone said that the reason behind the show's success was that America was a voyeruistic society. I didn't believe that then, but I do now.

Er...yeah, anyone can load stuff on youtube, so lots of people put home movies on there, but if you actaully do searches, the most popular videos are television shows, movie clips, etc...
