I thought I was the straightest guy in Minneapolis until one day when a gay guy hit on me. The thing that troubled me was where the heck he got that idea that I could even remotely be a gay. I wasn't sure how I felt. Offended, puzzled, self-doubt? Some friends told me that I should have felt flattered. Why? Because only men want to go out me now? I'd feel flatterred if a drop-dead gorgeous woman hit on me.

Maybe cause you live in a city without a large gay population. Personally Ive been hit on a few times, I just smile say thanks but Im not gay. Gay man have extremely high standards, think of it like this... Girls are always saying too bad he's gay, just jump up and say Im not gay and he hit on me!

I dunno it never really bothered me... Who cares its not like he hit on you by grabbing your crotch and asking if you wanted a go.

Actually, Minneapolis has a relatively high gay population (by ratio, anyhow). It's not San Francisco, but it's fairly high on the list.
