Ive studied theology for quite sometime now and find myself fairly familiar with world religions. Ive come to the conclusion however that one monotheisitic religion vs another is the road to hell. All come to the same conclusion that happiness is achieved when humanity realises that peace and morality reign supreme. Personally I was raised catholic and no longer care, your god my god. You can blow up whom ever the hell you want its not gonna get a point across on either plane. If Islamic Terrorist said everyone be Islamic to some degree or another in order to achieve world peace Id be game. At the end of the day who really cares? Jesus, Mohammad, Im pretty sure even Buddah too dont really care what's going on as long as you can get along.

Even Levay Satanists seem pretty okay with the idea of live and let live. I think humans in general like the idea of global pissing contests so its an unending cycle. If anyone here can clearly state why one god is much better than the other let me know cause so far Ive decided good is good. Maybe Im too simple..? Or maybe humanity has become too complicated. Maybe its patriotism that's hindering thought. Zelous thought just seems to bring us back to exploding more and more people. Maybe a catastophic event will come along and show us at the end of the day we're all still human. Brown human vs white human vs tan human, its madness...

I couldn't agree with you more, Chesirealleycat. While we are down here battling it out, Krishna and Christ are up there singing and holding hands and dancing wondering when we're gonna get a clue.

The best part is, if there is a god up there and he lends himself to any of these religions eventaully he's just gonna get pissed and wipe us out. When you have a tumor you have it removed, these battles are like cancer, aids, and a host of other devistating dieseses reaking havoc on humanity. I would honestly say I volunteer to die tommarrow if so is the case that irepairble damage has been done. We're almost at that point, it was cute when it happened during the crusades but now with nuclear weapons insane zelots arent the only one's that are going to suffer. We could close ourselves off for a while and try to build a utopia and lead by example instead of playing world police but it'll never happen...

I dont even know if its the religions. More like the fools behind them. Im not sure who the leader of Islam is off hand but Im sure he's not about blowing everyone to hell. The pope hasnt said nuke the arabs. These people are insane. Who cares about holy lands, the native americans had it right. You cant own the Earth. I hope to god some how some way there's intellegent life out there that will see us and say what a waste and blow us all to hell. It'll definately give us some perspective to see a unified species silence us for our own good. The earth would make a decent wild life preserve if we got rid of the pesky humans.
